Improving the Linear Ratio Inspection Standard for Seismic Acceleration Sensor Output Voltages

In this study, the seismic acceleration sensor inspection standard, which estimates error rate of sensor’s output voltage to test its linear ratio, was analyzed and an improved standard proposed. Seismic sensors should be sensitive small angular changes under excitation; however, existing only calculates rates at 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° angles. Thus, we proposed that measures ratios in 5° increments from 0° 90°. Since ratio is determined by estimating between theoretical measured voltages, X, Y, Z directions were changing The results indicate increased installation angles, decreased gradually smaller increments. current underestimated actual rate, as it represented 40~50% average interval measurements. Therefore, for reflect influence variations according increment.
